Free Should Not Feel Like Scraps

Opening World Ruler Sher Quote

“That is another thing that has been attached to free: if it is free, it cannot be good. What is wrong with it? Precisely because of bad governance, and because the worst things are discarded onto people in the name of free, free becomes distasteful.

Then money continues on to distract, because you are made to think, ‘If I just had money, I could access good dental care from a good facility.’ That is not necessarily true, but the free UBS has left such a bad taste in your mouth that you can only think bitterly of the alternative, which is money to pay a good dentist.”

“Free” has been made distasteful because badly governed systems often give people the worst version of help and then call it generosity.

Free, but wait all day.

Free, but no supplies.

Free, but no numbing cream.

Free, but dirty or careless.

Free, but rushed.

Free, but humiliating.

Free, but you leave feeling like you received leftovers from a civilization that does not respect you.

Then people begin to distrust free things.

They start thinking:

If it is free, what is wrong with it?

If it is free, it must be poor quality.

If it is free, I must prepare to suffer.

If it is free, I will be treated like a burden.

That is not because free is naturally bad. It is because bad governance has attached shame, delay, shortage, and low standards to free provision.

Then money steps in as the false savior.

The person thinks, “If I had money, I could go to a good dentist. I could go to a clean place. I could be treated with dignity. I could get pain relief. I could avoid this whole degrading process.”

Sometimes that is true in the immediate situation. Paying may get faster care. Paying may get better surroundings. Paying may get a stocked clinic.

But the deeper lie is that money is the only path to quality.

That is the distraction.

The real correction is not “free is bad, paid is good.”

The real correction is:

Free must be excellent.

Free must be competent.

Free must be stocked.

Free must be dignified.

Free must be beautiful.

Free must work.

Trott Bailey Family Civilization has to break that old association completely.

Free should not feel like scraps.

Free should feel like relief.

Free should feel like order.

Free should feel like respect.

Free should feel like, “My family is not being punished for needing care.”

Free should feel like civilization doing its job.

Because when free is badly governed, money remains powerful. It keeps looking like the escape route.

But when free is excellent, money loses one of its strongest arguments.
