A man who had kissed enough behinds to make it to the boardroom, and now he figured it was time to \u201cselect a wife.\u201d<\/em> Because in his mind \u2014 money earned = woman earned. Secondly, you also imply that cooking and cleaning are things you can always pay for from a stranger, so your wife’s cooking is of not much value.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

She wasn\u2019t even angry. She was just warming up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Let me address these implications. Unlike the strangers \u2014 chef and maid \u2014 who have no ties, no loyalty, no love for you, I would cook your meals with love. I can prepare a wide array of healthy, delicious dishes that nourish your body and cost way less than the $90 duck confit you flex on your Instagram stories.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He chuckled awkwardly. She didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Cooking is not to be undervalued when done by a wife, yet somehow overvalued when done by a chef. There are levels<\/em> to this cooking thing. A good wife doesn\u2019t just feed you and a man who is good husband material knows that. She crafts joy, comfort, and memory into your meals. A maid can clean the floor, but she doesn’t think to make chocolate cake on a rainy day, or fried dumplings at midnight just because your spirit needed it.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And then she went in<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Money? It comes and goes. If tomorrow your finances dry up, what happens then? What do you bring when your card gets declined? I bring myself \u2014 a woman of character, loyalty, wisdom, and common sense. I\u2019m not loyal to your income. I\u2019m loyal to our covenant.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

“And yes, I\u2019m beautiful. I\u2019m disciplined. I\u2019m fit. I\u2019m fertile. And if you were a man worthy of love and legacy, I\u2019d gladly bear your children and raise them with strong values and life skills. But now I ask you<\/em> \u2014 what kind of husband would you be if the money goes? Can you still lead with honor when you\u2019re broke? Or does your confidence vanish with your paycheck?”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

“Would you swallow your pride and do a lower job if needed to feed our family? Or would you crumble because you thought your manhood came with a price tag? Isn’t this what it means to be husband material?”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Boom.
Mic dropped.
Wine sipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimberly didn\u2019t insult him. She upgraded him. Without even touching him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
