Jump over to Nigeria\u2019s degrading relationship depictions, BBL monstrosities, actresses whose greatest aim as a woman is the achievement of a Peruvian weave. Switch to K-dramas and their indecisive, wimpy men and women, and there is no wonder their birth rate sucks. American media, their mother, mommy of all these channel spinoffs, and the B.B.C., the grandmother, the originators of woeful propaganda and destructive lies.\n <\/p>\n\n <div class=\"wake-up\">\n Wouldn\u2019t it be nice if you all disappeared so the world could wake up?\n <\/div>\n\n <p class=\"command\">Stop keeping the world in a dream.<\/p>\n\n <p>What bores me is the repetition of such a tiny imagination of human life.<\/p>\n\n <p>Different countries package it differently, but the machinery becomes painfully familiar.<\/p>\n\n <p>The rich CEO is powerful because everyone beneath him trembles. The boss woman proves herself by being colder, harder and more unpleasant than everybody else. Romance is humiliation, jealousy, misunderstanding and status.<\/p>\n\n <p>Move countries and the clothes change.<\/p>\n\n <p>Now the woman has the enormous manufactured backside, the expensive weave, the house, the car, the man with money. Everybody is upgrading, competing, betraying, showing off, scheming or trying to enter somebody else\u2019s social class.<\/p>\n\n <p>Move again.<\/p>\n\n <p>Two adults apparently love one another, but neither can manage one straightforward conversation for sixteen episodes. A relationship that could move forward before lunchtime has to survive three months of staring, walking away, almost speaking, misunderstanding and staring again.<\/p>\n\n <p>America and Britain have been feeding the machine for generations: affairs, broken homes, power games, endless romantic replacement, status, violence, humiliation, consumption and dysfunction packaged as entertainment.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"attack\">\n Your fucking illusions diminish the brain and imagination. Aren\u2019t you tired of your own selves? You have lost the plot. You don\u2019t edify; you perpetuate the stupidness.\n <\/div>\n\n <p>And apparently the combined imagination of enormous entertainment industries across half the planet keeps arriving at the same little box of toys.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"little-box\">\n <p>Boss crushes employee.<\/p>\n <p>Rich person humiliates poor person.<\/p>\n <p>Woman acquires correct body.<\/p>\n <p>Man acquires correct watch.<\/p>\n <p>Somebody cheats.<\/p>\n <p>Somebody misunderstands something that one honest sentence would solve.<\/p>\n <p>Everybody wants entry into the same hierarchy.<\/p>\n <p class=\"roll-credits\">Roll credits.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <p>Is this really all you have to imagine?<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"big-line\">Actual human life is enormous.<\/div>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me a husband and wife building something together.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me a family trying to create a different way of living.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me people planting food beside a road and wondering what happens next.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me children actually changing the adults around them instead of existing as decorative props.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me grandparents who are still fully alive inside the story.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me families solving problems, failing, arguing, laughing, inventing things, raising children, growing food, building houses, travelling, caring for somebody who is sick, questioning the society around them and trying again.<\/p>\n\n <p class=\"show-me\">Show me marriage after the wedding. Parenthood after the baby arrives. People making things with their hands. People wrestling with faith. People growing old without disappearing from the story.
