To keep the Kingdom pristine and the energy flowing, follow these three simple rules. There are no “trash cans” here—only Resource Gates.
The Golden Rule: NO PLASTICS
Plastic is forbidden in the Trott Bailey Family Kingdom. If it cannot be grown, melted, or burned for clean energy, it does not belong here.
How to use the “Monkey Gates”
Look for the intake stations featuring the two emerald and ruby monkeys holding a rope. Pull the rope to open the gate that matches your item:
The Green Gate (Scraps & Soil): * What goes in: Food scraps, fruit peels, and garden clippings.
The Result: This goes underground to become fertilizer for our mixed fruit gardens. Your apple core today is a mango tomorrow.
The Amber Gate (Paper & Wood): * What goes in: Paper, cardboard, and old cotton or wool clothing.
The Result: This is converted into clean electricity and heat. This powers the ice cream shops and keeps the hot springs warm.
The Blue Gate (Glass & Metal): * What goes in: Glass bottles, stones, and scrap metal.
The Result: These are melted down to create new tools, crystal houses, or the white pebbles used in our architecture
Example: District Standard: 3,000 residents | No plastics | Underground vacuum network | Multiple hubs
1) Our Kingdom Rule
We do not allow plastics in the kingdom. Because of that, our waste system is clean, low-odor, and designed to turn “trash” into soil, energy, and building materials.
2) The System in One Sentence
You drop waste into sealed vacuum chutes (color-coded), and it travels underground to neighborhood micro-hubs, then to the Central Processing Hub, where it becomes compost, energy, and reusable materials.
3) The Three Waste Streams
Every disposal point has three labeled chutes:
🟩 GREEN — Wet Organics (Food & Compostables)
Put in GREEN:
all food scraps (raw or cooked)
fruit peels, bones, shells
coffee grounds, tea leaves
compostable napkins and paper towels
market produce waste
Never put in GREEN:
glass, ceramic, metal
stones, dirt, sand
dry cardboard or textiles (those go in Amber)
Where it goes:
to Anaerobic Digestion (sealed tanks) → produces biogas energy
leftover digestate goes to compost curing
finished compost returns to farms, orchards, lawns
