You Are Now Armed With Information and Clarity
You now know what is wrong.
Not every problem.
Not every cause.

There are roughly 3.3 billion people aged 0–24 in a world of about 8 billion people.
That is an enormous share of humanity.
And yet many nations do not have enough meaningful work prepared for them.

We looked at wealthy nations that still cannot offer enough young people a dependable future.
We looked at developing nations waiting for investors to solve the problem for them.
We looked at the World Bank projection that around 1.2 billion young people in emerging market and developing economies will reach working age between 2025 and 2035 while only about 420 million jobs are projected to be created.
We looked at what happens when young people are told to study longer, apply again, collect another certificate and keep waiting for work that is not being created on the scale required.
We looked at civilization drag.
We looked at what happens when people, knowledge, machinery, materials and problems all exist but useful action still stops because somebody cannot pay.
And then we looked at another possibility.

One of the greatest advantages of understanding a problem clearly is that you stop confusing the limits of the existing system with the limits of human possibility.
If a government tells people that the answer is simply more competition for too few jobs, you can recognize the limitation.
If someone says young people only need more certificates, you can ask where the actual work is.
If leaders say investors will eventually arrive, you can ask what is being built now.
If useful land, machinery, skills and resources already exist while people remain idle, you can ask why those things are not being organized together.
If a society has millions of young people and no serious plan for their abilities, you can recognize that as a planning failure.
Clarity changes the questions people are able to ask.
Resources Are Already Being Used
Every society already decides what its resources will be used for.
Land is being used.
Minerals are being used.
Machinery is being used.
Energy is being used.
Public budgets are being used.
Skilled people are being used.
Construction capacity is being used.
Agricultural capacity is being used.
Transport capacity is being used.
Young people’s time is being used.
The question is not whether resources will be used.

If enormous amounts of land, machinery, productive capacity and public resources are directed into systems that still leave millions of people without useful work, poor housing, weak food security, exhausted families and unfinished public infrastructure, then people are allowed to ask whether those resources are being organized well.
If public resources have been handed into arrangements that benefit narrow private interests while large public needs remain unfinished, that too is something a society can examine openly.
The alternative question is straightforward:
What would happen if more of those resources were organized around building the conditions people actually need?
Food.
Housing.
Water.
Health.
Transport.
Machinery.
Education.
Family support.
Public beauty.
Research.
Manufacturing.
Repair.
Orchards.
Child development.
Useful work.
This Is a Choice About What Civilization Should Be Built
