The Kimroy Bailey Robotics and Renewable Energy Summer Camp culminated with a grand closing ceremony at the University of Technology, Jamaica. The function marked the end of two trilling summer Robotics and Renewable Energy camps held in Kingston from July 7-12 and July 21-25. Students were introduced to Mobile Robots, Programing, Sensors, Wind and Solar Energy and had the grand chance of touring the Wigton Windfarm where they assembled a residential wind turbine and view a demo home solar system. Here’s an overview of the ceremony in 15 photos, hope you like it!
Thanks to the students who participated, parents, sponsors and partners: The University of Technology, Wigton Wind Farm Ltd, GeNNex, Access Financial Services, Klesing Industrial Supplies, Digital Yard Foundation and the Scientific Research Council. I will produce an article shortly which will provide a comprehensive overview of the camp activities. #OneTeam, #OneDream #TeamKB, #KeepBelieving.
