Scared of A.I.( artificial Intelligence)… Why?Rolling my eyes.
‘What is AI? Just an aggregation of past data. Like a text book written in 1980 and modernized in 2020 with a new high gloss cover. What is AI? Just a tool to be used. It’ what the Google search engine was back in 2015. It cannot think, it cannot be original and it definitely cannot chart the future on its own.’ Sher Trott Bailey
The High-Gloss Lie: Why AI Will Never Eclipse the Human Creator
By Sher Trott Bailey
It is time to shatter the mirror.
We are currently drowning in a cultural obsession with Artificial Intelligence. We are told it is “thinking,” “creating,” and “dreaming.” We are warned that it will soon surpass us. This is not just marketing hype; it is a fundamental misunderstanding of reality.
Let’s be brutally direct about what AI actually is. Strip away the sleek interfaces and the billion-dollar branding, and you are left with a glorified calculator running on dead information.
The 1980 Textbook with a 2020 Cover
AI is not a new form of consciousness. It is an advanced aggregation of the past.
Think of it like an old history textbook written in 1980. It contains facts, dates, and statistics collected up to that point. Now, imagine taking that same book in 2020, digitizing it, and slapping a high-gloss, holographic cover on it so it looks futuristic.
Does that new cover give the book the ability to think? Does the book suddenly have hopes, fears, or the capacity to dream of something that has never happened before?
No. It is still just an archive.
AI operates entirely on pattern recognition based on data we have already fed it. It is fundamentally backward-looking. It is a rearview mirror that we have mistaken for a windshield. It cannot generate an original thought because it lacks the primary ingredients of originality: a soul, subjective experience, and the breath of life.
The Bankruptcy of the Word “Unrealistic”
Because AI is chained to the past, it is incapable of recognizing the potential of the future.
If you present an AI with a vision that defies historical data—something like the Trott Bailey Family Kingdom, a world built on free abundance and boundless architecture—the AI will analyze its ledger of past human behavior and spit back one word: “Unrealistic.”
But who is this machine to tell humanity what they are capable of?
There was a time when the historical data said heavy-than-air flight was impossible. An AI would have called the Wright brothers “unrealistic.” There was a time when instantaneous global communication was fantasy. An AI would have called the internet “unrealistic.”
When AI calls a vision “unrealistic,” it is simply admitting its own limitations. It is saying, “I have no record of this in my database.” It sees a dead end where the human spirit sees a doorway.
The Divine Spark vs. The Dead Algorithm
This is the core friction. AI is a synthesizer of what has been; the human is the creator of what could be.
Humans are unlimited creators, bearing the image of God inside them. We possess the Divine Spark—the ability to conceive of something that has zero historical precedent and then breath life into it until it becomes real. We don’t just interpolate data points; we take leaps of faith into the unknown.
AI is a tool. Nothing more. It is a shovel, a hammer, a very fast library. A hammer does not decide to build a cathedral; it waits for the hand of the architect. A rudderless ship might be able to calculate the most efficient path on an old map, but it cannot decide where the voyage should go, or why the journey matters.
We must stop worshipping the tool we created. AI must know its place. It is here to serve the vision, not to dictate it. The future will not be charted by algorithms generated from our past mistakes; it will be charted by human creators who refuse to take “no” from a machine.
