God Hungry or Money Hungry?
Human beings already know how to hunger, chase, sacrifice, obsess, and become greedy for what they want. The question is what they actually want.
I am saying 99.99 percent of the current world population does not truly want to hear from God.
That sounds outrageous only because religion is everywhere.
Churches are everywhere. Preachers are everywhere. Religious language is everywhere. People pray, sing, quote scripture, wear religious symbols, attend services, shout amen, fall down, get back up, and constantly say they know God.
All of that creates the illusion that the Earth is overflowing with people who desperately want God.
I do not believe it.
People can move their mouths and say they want to know God and not mean one word of it.
I believe 99.99 percent of the current world population does not truly want God speaking directly into their lives.
They want religion around them.
They want the comfort of believing they are close to God.
They want routines and performances that seem holy.
They want somebody else to preach to them, somebody else to tell them what God said, somebody else to interpret Him for them, and somebody else to reassure them that everything is fine.
But actually hearing from God for themselves?
Actually knowing Him?
Actually wanting Him speaking directly into their lives?
No.
Religious permeation is not the same thing as knowing God.
People Already Know How to Hunger
Look at the hunger people already have for money.
People act as if seeking God with intensity is some strange, impossible thing.
It is not.
People wake up thinking about money. They leave their homes for it. They leave their children for it. They leave their husbands and wives for it. They move countries for it. They study for years for it. They work themselves sick for it. They lose sleep over it. They compete for it. They lie for it. Some murder for it. Some betray their own families for it.
People spend entire lives chasing money, protecting money, growing money, worrying about money, counting money, comparing money, and trying to figure out how to get more money.
Money hunger runs the Earth.
So do not tell me human beings do not understand hunger.
You understand hunger very well.
The problem is what you are hungry for.
If you were sincere about hearing from God and speaking to God for yourself, take the hunger, intensity, and greed for money that currently runs the Earth and redirect that intensity toward seeking God.
I need to know God for myself.
I need to hear Him for myself.
I need to speak with Him myself.
I need to know how He speaks to me.
I am not satisfied with somebody else telling me what He said.
That is God hunger.
What I Mean When I Say Hear From God
I Mean Actually Hearing From God and Knowing Him for Yourself.
I am not using “hear” as some watered-down religious expression.
God can speak clearly.
He can speak words.
He can speak through the Holy Spirit.
He can speak through heavenly languages and their interpretation.
He can put something directly into a person’s mind for that person to speak aloud.
And yes, an audible voice is possible too.
I am not putting limits on how God is allowed to speak.
I am speaking from my own life.
I have heard clear words from the Holy Spirit.
I have heard from God through the interpretation of heavenly languages.
Now God speaks into my husband Big King’s mind, and he speaks what he receives out loud to me.
And the more I talk with God and spend time with Him, the more I find myself thinking and talking like Him.
My husband and I have gone through situations and challenges together and, with God’s help, overcome them together. Through those experiences, knowing God has become more personal, more familiar, and more woven into how we live.
Our children have also received their own heavenly languages.
Keilah, my firstborn daughter, can sometimes interpret and understand what I am saying when I speak in a heavenly language.
So when I say “hear from God,” I do not mean, “Go listen to somebody else talk about God.”
I mean know Him yourself.
Hear Him yourself.
Talk with Him yourself.
You Don’t Really Want to Hear What He Has to Say
The performance gets tested when God says something you do not want to hear.
The truth is that many religious churchgoers do not truly want to hear from God.
They want comfortable, routine rituals and performances that seem holy.
Because actually hearing from God means He might tell you something you do not want to hear. In the early days of my own personal journey and day to day talks with God, we would have it out, we cussed. I would tell him to hurry up, why can’t he just use his God power and quickly make me wealthy? This was when I initially wanted wealth for my family by how I thought wealth was supposed to look, which was money. Now through years of talking and mental transformation and more arguing, joking, laughing, being awed by how God uses everything and ties up everything smoothly for my family’s honor and ascension; being able to look back at victories and understand: “Oh, so that’s why you did that” or finally seeing something he promised would happen… actually happen; now God and are much calmer 🤣🤪. We only cuss now about mhmmm once a week. I remember I became so badly grieved about something to where I’ve told him that Him making human beings was really a waste of time and that He seemed to not have thought it through. His reply was ” Sher, shut the fuck up…when you get it you will get it, somethings no amount of talking can reveal it to you, just time and experience.” Now sometimes when I see how as a parent,I mean well for my own children but they don’t understand or misunderstand my intentions, I suddenly know how God feels when I get angry at him. I also shake my head at myself because I can already see him looking at me lovingly shaking his head at me his petulant little toddler, growing in faith, understanding and power. But how many of you want to encounter God so personally? So Boldly?
What if God tells you to marry one woman and be faithful to her for the rest of your life?
What if He tells you that having sex with more than one person is point-blank wrong and is a sin against your own body? That this can manifest in real consequences in your body and life: STDs, mental torment, fertility disruptions, and more?
What if He tells you that prostituting your daughters is wrong?
That killing your unborn children is wrong?
That gossiping and telling lies about your family and neighbors is evil?
That lusting is evil?
That cheating your neighbors is wrong?
That manipulating people is wrong?
That the grudge you have been carrying around and justifying for twenty years needs to go?
That something your entire family has been doing for generations is still wrong even though everybody around you has normalized it?
Whatever specific recommendation for change He is going to make to you, you do not really want to hear it.
That is where all the performance gets tested.
It is easy to say, “I want God to speak to me,” when you imagine God saying everything you already wanted to hear.
What happens when He does not?
What happens when God disagrees with you?
What happens when He exposes you?
What happens when He tells you the person you keep blaming is not the only problem?
What happens when He tells you that you are the one who needs to change?
That is different.
And if comfortable religious performance is what you are satisfied with, then do not act all surprised when God says He does not know you.
You do not know Him.
So how come He should know you?
You learned church.
You learned the performances.
You learned when to stand.
When to sit.
When to sing.
When to shout.
When to say amen.
You learned how to look religious.
But did you know God?
God Is Not Handing Everybody the Same Dosage
A Personal Relationship Is Not a One-Size-Fits-All Diagnosis.
A personal relationship with God is not one giant, one-size-fits-all diagnosis handed to everybody in exactly the same way.
Joe
God can look at Joe and tell him that he needs to practice forgiveness seven times because Joe’s problem is that he is too forgiving and gullible.
Joe keeps letting people hurt him, deceive him, use him, and walk straight back into his life because he has confused forgiveness with endless trust and endless access.
Mai Ling
Then God can look at Mai Ling and see that she comes from a long line of grudge-holding and tell her that, for her own good, she needs to practice forgiveness seventy times seven.
The numbers are not the point.
God assessed Joe’s heart and diagnosed what Joe personally needed.
Then He assessed Mai Ling’s heart and gave her a different dosage.
Joe does not need to become even easier to fool.
Mai Ling does not need another excuse to hold a grudge.
God knows the difference.
That is the power of a personal relationship.
There is no one-size-fits-all diagnosis or judgment.
One person may need to forgive more.
Another may need to understand that forgiveness does not mean repeatedly handing dishonest people access to hurt them.
One person may need to learn patience.
Another may have spent years calling fear and passivity “patience” and needs to finally act.
One person may need to speak less.
Another may have been silent their whole life when they should have spoken.
One person may need to give more.
Another may need to stop allowing everybody around them to use them.
God knows who He is dealing with.
You cannot build your whole relationship with God out of somebody else’s diagnosis.
You need to know what He is saying to you.
And that is exactly what people do not really want.
They want general religion.
A God broad enough that nobody has to feel personally examined.
The Rewards Cannot Be Counted
The Rewards Keep Multiplying Into Other Rewards.
Knowing God Himself.
Hearing Him.
Being guided by Him.
Becoming more like Him.
Having wisdom in situations where you would otherwise be blind.
Being corrected before you destroy something.
Being comforted.
Warned.
Strengthened.
Taught.
Protected.
Helped through challenges.
Seeing your family grow in relationship with Him.
Discovering things about God that you did not know before.
The rewards of knowing God are not some small benefits package that can be itemized and completed.
They keep multiplying because relationship with God keeps producing new understanding, new help, new correction, new strength, new answers, new experiences, new growth, new ways of seeing, new things learned about Him, new things learned about yourself, new ways He helps your husband, your children, your family, and whatever generations come after you.
One conversation with God can change ten decisions.
One correction can prevent years of damage.
One insight can reshape how you raise a child.
One warning can save you from walking into something destructive.
One answer can open another hundred questions.
One thing He teaches you can become something your children inherit and then build upon.
So the rewards multiply into other rewards.
And every one of those opens into a thousand more things.
I could list until the rewards outnumbered the sands on a seashore and still not have explained what knowing God is worth.
The rewards far outweigh all the money and treasure that could ever be found in a billion lifetimes.
If You Don’t Want Him, Wonderful
I am not pleading with anybody to seek God.
I am not trying to compel anybody.
I am not standing at the stream begging the arrogant, the dawdling, and the sitting-on-the-fencers to please take a drink.
I am thirsty.
I see the stream.
Move.
If you all do not want Him, wonderful.
More for me.
Trott Bailey Family will take everything God is willing to give us.
There is absolute greed in it.
As much as He will reveal, I want it.
As much as He will teach, I want it.
As much wisdom as He will give, I want it.
As deeply as He will allow us to know Him, I want to go.
I see God like a thirsty man sees a stream.
I am diving in headfirst.
You can keep the comfortable religion.
You can keep the performance.
You can keep dawdling.
You can keep chasing money as if it is the greatest treasure that exists.
While you are all dawdling, Trott Bailey Family will gladly seek.
