We travelled through years in which a walk of ten kilometres, a long swim and a table-tennis rally were part of the pleasure of an ordinary day. Turkey showed us that caring for health can be joyful rather than a permanent sequence of treatments for illnesses already acquired. Sher and I became stronger together, and a new athletic side of our marriage came alive.
Health Upon Health brings that preventive and active idea into civilization. Clean water, nutritious food, comfortable housing, fresh air, physical activity, good rest, maternal support, first aid, clinical skill and emergency response belong to one health environment. The person should be surrounded by reasons to stay well and know where capable assistance is available when needed.
Tideechi is Sher’s intimate maternity setting, designed around the labouring mother, her husband and a trained team. She has authored the Forward-Lean Arch, warm water relief, a protected birth receiving ground, a midwife’s working area and an adjoining family room. DeMassa provides the larger emergency heart when specialized intervention becomes necessary. The architecture gives clinical professionals proper equipment and families real comfort.
The health system grows from life that we already love: swimming, moving, eating, birthing, growing, recovering and being close to those who matter. We want health care to have the confidence of excellent technical practice and the warmth of a civilization that actually enjoys human beings.
